Two Tomato Salsa

The addition of the green tomato makes this recipe fun. It’s a very colorful and delicious salsa with a kick. So many colors, red, white green and purple so not only is it good to eat it’s also fun to look at.

Ingredients -

2 Cups Unpeeled Plum Tomato (diced
1 Cup Unpeeled Green Tomato
1/2 Cup Green Bell Pepper (diced)
1/4 Cup Purple Onion (chopped)
1 Tablespoon Jalapeno Pepper (finely chopped)
1 Tablespoon Fresh Cilantro (finely chopped)
1 Clove Garlic (minced)
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/8 Teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
2 Tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

 
Preparation:

1. Add diced unpeeled plum tomatoes, unpeeled green tomato, green bell pepper, purple onion, jalapeno pepper, fresh cilantro, garlic, salt, fresh ground black pepper, lime juice, and olive oil to medium serving bowl.

2. Serve immediately.

Wear disposable gloves when handling chile peppers, and avoid contact with eyes and other sensitive areas. Be sure to wash your hands immediately after prepping them for use in the salsa.

Chile peppers such as the serrano, jalapeno, and pablano peppers vary widely in heat and flavor. Taste chilies when they are prepped for salsa, and adjust the amounts you use in salsa accordingly.
